Sharon Kay Double-file Viburnum This
is a Viburnum plicatum tomentosum that flowers with double petaled
flower heads at the same time as standard Double-file Viburnum. Also shows striking fall color. These are a fall blooming
perennial with large (8-9” diameter) flowers in colors ranging from white to
red. These plants can add color to landscapes
starting in late summer. Hops are primarily used in
the brewing of beer, but have other herbal uses. Hops are easy to grow in a
variety of soil conditions, but do best in well drained, organic soils. Vines
(technically called “bines”) can grow 20-30 feet in a season, die back to the
ground in the winter, and start again the following spring. |
